The flower will be ±10cm/4in when using the listed materials. Please remember: the final size (and result) will vary per person, due to personal crochet techniques, yarn and stitch tension, the used materials such as the hook and yarn, and so on..

What level is this pattern?

The level is intermediate. Fun for the adventurous beginner, especially if you’d like to practice crocheting in the front and back loops. And of course, this little pattern is also super fun for more advanced crocheters to make.!

Row 1: Create a magic ring. Chain 3 (counts as first dc of the row), crochet another 11 dc in the ring. End with a slst in the 3rd chain. (12)

Row 2: you crochet this row in the front loops only of row 1.

*FLO: in 1 stitch: [1 slst, ch 2, 2 dc, ch 2, 1 slst], 1 slst in next.*

You do not end this row with a slst.

Row 3: you crochet this row in the back loops only from row 1. 1 slst in first dc, ch 3 (counts as dc), 1 dc in same. Fold the petals from the prev row towards you, so you can crochet behind them.

*BLO: 2 dc in each st.*

End with a slst in the 3rd chain. (24)
