Materials

• Crochet hook 2.5 mm
• For best results use cotton thread, you will need approximately 550-600 meters.
  Yarn size: fine/thin. Some recommendations are: Yarn and Colors Must-Have, Scheepjes Whirlette, Durable Coral, Budget Yarn Cotton.
  
• A ring or material for tensioning
• Optional: wooden beads (wooden beads in the sizes: 10 and 12 mm, each size 8x)
• Pair of scissors
• Needle

Level of this pattern: difficult

I recommend you to make this pattern if you already have a lot of experience with crocheting. Many different stitches are used, which are applied in many different ways, such as the way of inserting. Or crocheting in multiple layers to create depth. There is a description in this pattern how to crochet the crochet stitches. Tip: go through this pattern step by step, focus on the current round you are working in. Then you will not be overwhelmed by the large number of rounds or stitches. The size

Please note that the final size of the mandala can vary from person to person , partly due to different crochet methods. The yarn, the crochet hook used and how tightly you crochet also affect the size. I recommend crocheting the mandala first, and then choosing a ring based on the final size. The ring should always be about 20% larger than the final size. For example, if your crocheted mandala is 80 cm in diameter, you would choose a 100 cm ring.
